Number Aging Policy
AT&T maintains a standard number aging pool duration of approximately 45 to 60 days. During this cooling-off period, the number is dormant and cannot be assigned to new customers.
Steps to Reclaim Process
- Gather all prior account information: Account Number, Account PIN/Passcode, and the exact disconnected phone number.
- Dial the specific AT&T retention or recovery support number.
- Request the representative to verify the 'aging pool status' of the specific line.
- If available, authorize a new line activation or an account restoration using the specific number.
